Interview Copilot helps you answer unexpected interview questions with guidance built from your résumé, role and the conversation so far. Choose quick cues, a structured outline or full first-person wording, then answer in your own words. Use Web Copilot in your browser or Prep Notes on a supported Mac; Interview Coach adds rehearsal with feedback before the call.
For candidates considering a Final Round AI alternative, the sections below show how Interview Copilot supports the live call and preparation, followed by a short comparison of price and access.
This page is by the makers of Interview Copilot at interviewcopilot.io. Final Round AI at finalroundai.com is a separate product whose live feature is named Interview CoPilot™. Facts checked 3 November 2026; no hands-on competitor benchmark. Use assistance within your interview's rules.
Get the amount of guidance you need
Give Copilot your role, résumé and relevant job context so the suggestions can draw on your experience. During the call, choose a format that fits the question:
- Cue me: a few short points to glance at while you form your own answer.
- Structure it: an outline when you want to organise the reasoning or story.
- Formulate my answer: full first-person wording when you want a draft to work from.
Manual Get Answer is available on every plan. Basic and Intensive add optional Auto Answer, which starts a suggestion after a question ends. You still choose what to say and check that every personal detail is true.
Illustrative example: an interviewer asks why you chose a rollback during an incident. Add your actual incident and responsibilities to the context. Use cues to recall the decision and trade-off, or an outline to organise the sequence. Check the suggestion against what you really did, then explain your decision in your own words. A polished sentence is useful only if you can defend it when the interviewer follows up.
Use the browser or our Mac app
Web Copilot runs without installation. For a call in a browser tab, use tab audio in desktop Chrome or Edge. Native call apps use a different capture path; check the web audio setup for your browser and operating system.
Prep Notes is Interview Copilot's native Mac app. It captures system audio with your permission and uses the same account, plan and Copilot minutes. It requires Apple silicon, M1 or later, and macOS 13 Ventura or later; there is no Intel build. See the Mac requirements and download information. Our native Windows version is in progress.
Rehearse before the call with Coach
Coach asks interview questions, listens to your answer and gives feedback. In Practice mode, behavioral and hiring-manager questions support one focused correction and one retry of the same question. It is included on every plan; minutes vary by tier.
Use Copilot for guidance on a question you choose. Use Coach practice when you want to improve an answer you give aloud.

Try Interview Copilot with a question from your next interview
Try Interview Copilot free. Choose Free, sign in, add your role and redacted context, then open a Copilot session. Allow microphone access, ask your question aloud, wait for the transcript and press Get Answer within your remaining allowance.
Check whether the answer addresses the question, uses facts you can substantiate and remains useful under a follow-up. This first microphone test assesses spoken-question guidance; test your actual call-audio path before relying on it in an interview. For a fuller checklist, use our copilot evaluation guide.
