- Interviewer
Okay, let’s switch to some behavioral questions.
- You
Sure, go ahead.
- Interviewer
Tell me about a time you disagreed with your manager.
Answer Cue me
- My manager wanted to skip load tests before launch
- Payments were my part of the checkout relaunch
- Ran a load test anyway. Checkout fell over at peak, so I suggested rolling out in stages
- We launched a week late, but nothing broke. We still roll out that way

Interview Copilot is an AI interview assistant for the live call. Its AI interview copilot turns the interviewer’s question into an answer you can say, built from your résumé, your stories, the company, the role and the conversation so far. You choose the format: quick cues, a structured outline or a full first-person answer. Interview Coach, included on every plan, lets you rehearse before the call, with feedback and a retry of the same question.
How Interview Copilot works.
Set it up once. Then it listens with you.
-
1
Add your résumé and the job description
Résumé and job description personalization gives the prompts your context.

Three ways to see the answer
InterviewerHow do you prioritize when everything is urgent?
-
Cue me Default
Quick triggers when you already know the answer
- Ask what actually breaks if it waits a week
- Go through the list with my manager and agree the order
- Last quarter-end I pushed two small requests, and the launch went out on time
-
Structure it
The order of your answer and its proof points
ApproachI ask what breaks if each thing waits a week, then agree the order with my manager.
ExampleLast quarter-end, three teams needed something from me at once. I pushed two small requests to the next sprint.
ResultThe launch went out on time. I’d told both people why, so nobody minded the wait.
-
Formulate my answer
A natural answer you can say as it is
“When everything’s urgent, I ask what actually breaks if it waits a week. Then I go through the list with my manager, so we agree on the order. Last quarter-end I had three teams asking at once. I pushed two small requests to the next sprint and told them why. The launch went out on time…”
Change it any time in settings.
-
Built from your context
Each prompt uses your résumé, your saved stories, the company, the role from the job description and what’s been said so far in the call.
-
Transcribed while they talk
Streaming speech-to-text, on a model rated at under 300 ms, writes the interviewer’s words into the transcript while they are still speaking.
-
Ready for the follow-up
When they dig deeper, the next prompt answers just the new part and keeps what you already said, instead of starting over.
-
Written to be said
Cues fit one glance; the words stay yours. Formulate my answer gives a first-person reply with natural contractions.
Coding, system design, behavioral. Whatever they ask next.
Real rounds mix question types. Copilot recognizes each question as it comes and shapes the answer to it.
-
Coding
InterviewerGiven a list of numbers, how would you find two that add up to a target?
Cue me
- Go through the list once and keep a hash map of what I’ve seen
- If target minus the current number is already in the map, that’s the pair. O(n)
-
Behavioral
InterviewerTell me about a time a release went wrong.
Cue me
- A Friday release broke checkout for some of our users
- I led the rollback, and after that we started doing canary releases
-
System design
InterviewerHow would you design a rate limiter?
Cue me
- Token bucket for each API key, counters in Redis
- Big question is what happens when the limiter itself goes down
-
General
InterviewerSo, why are you interested in this role?
Cue me
- I’ve spent two years on payments, and that’s most of your roadmap
- I want to own a product from design all the way to launch
20 languages and your call app
The documented offer supports 20 languages. Web Copilot hears a call in a browser tab, or desktop call apps through Chrome’s entire-screen audio (Windows, or macOS 14.2+ with Chrome 141+). Check your exact audio and language setup.
20 free Copilot minutes every month. Manual Get Answer.
Before the call: Interview Coach, included on every plan.
One correction tied to your words, then the same question again.
What Coach includes
Five-dimension scoring, scored reports, a focused correction tied to your answer, same-question retries and weak-area progress across sessions. Plans differ only in Coach minutes. A stronger practice answer does not establish transfer to a new question.
Coach practice
Attempt 1
“I worked with the team to restore service.”
Credibility
State your personal decision before describing the team response.
Attempt 2, same question
“I led the rollback.”
Improved
More of what you know, in your own words.
- When the question surprises you, you still have somewhere to start.
- It uses your résumé, your stories and the job to tell you what to say.
- When they dig deeper, the next point is already there.
It tells you what to say, from things you’ve actually done, so you can back it up when they ask more.

The things you’re probably wondering.
-
“It’ll throw a wall of text at me.”
Cue me by default
Cue me, the default, gives you a few short points to glance at. Switch to a full answer only if you want one.
-
“It’ll sound like ChatGPT, not like me.”
Points, not a speech
Cue me gives you points, not a speech, so you say it your own way. If you pick a full answer, it’s in first person and plain words, without canned openings. Both are built from your résumé and stories.
-
“It’ll lag right when I need it.”
~1.5 s to first cues
The question shows up in the transcript while they’re still talking, and the first cues follow in about 1.5 seconds.
-
“It won’t pick up my call.”
Try it free first
If your call is in the browser, share that tab. For the Zoom, Teams or Webex apps, share your whole screen with audio in Chrome. Try it on a test call with your free minutes first.
Which setups work
Whole-screen audio works in Chrome on Windows, or on macOS 14.2+ with Chrome 141+. The Mac app hears your call’s audio directly.
-
“Someone will see it on the call.”
Intensive · Mac app
Stealth Mode is an Intensive option in Prep Notes, the desktop app. The web Copilot and Coach are visible.
What it covers and its limits
Interview Mode implements content protection and macOS Dock, Cmd-Tab and Mission Control handling for the protected overlay. Normal Setup is a separate, visible window.
The Google Meet received-share check remains pending. No received view is verified here. Full-screen, window and tab sharing, other call clients and operating systems remain unverified in this record.
These controls do not promise concealment from process inspection, gaze or speech. Rehearse your exact setup and follow your interview’s rules.
A few more practical answers.
What is Interview Copilot?
Interview Copilot is an AI interview assistant for the live call. Its AI interview copilot turns the interviewer’s question into an answer you can say, built from your résumé, your stories, the company, the role and the conversation so far. You choose the format: quick cues, a structured outline or a full first-person answer. Interview Coach, included on every plan, lets you rehearse before the call, with feedback and a retry of the same question.
How do I connect my interview?
Web Copilot runs in your browser, with no installation. Share the browser tab your call runs in, or, in Chrome, share your entire screen with system audio to hear desktop call apps such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex (Windows, or macOS 14.2+ with Chrome 141+). The Mac app hears your call’s audio directly. Check that the question reaches the transcript before relying on your audio setup.
How fast are the cues?
Words appear in the transcript while the interviewer speaks. After Get Answer or Auto Answer, the first cues appeared in a median of 1.43 s in our measurement from 2 to 4 October 2026. That is the time to the first guidance, not to the full answer.
What does Auto Answer do?
Auto Answer starts a suggested response after an interview question ends. It is included on Basic and Intensive and can be switched off. Manual Get Answer is available on every plan.
Which interviews and languages are supported?
The four interview modes are coding, behavioral, system design and general. The documented offer supports 20 languages. Check your own audio and language setup before the call.
How accurate is the guidance?
AI can be wrong. Your résumé and job description provide context, not proof of personal achievements. Check the facts, use your own words and follow your interview’s rules. Coach scores are practice signals, not hiring predictions.
What can I try on Free?
Free includes 20 Copilot minutes and 20 Coach minutes every month. All Coach features are included; only minutes differ by plan.
Can I cancel or request a refund?
Cancel in account settings at any time. A full refund on a paid plan can be requested within 3 days of the initial purchase if usage has not exceeded the Free plan allowance of 20 minutes.
