These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Interview Copilot website, software, services, and other offerings (collectively, "Services") operated by LotsDots Lab ("we", "us", "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

Registration

To use certain features of our Services, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Description of Services

Interview Copilot is an AI-powered interview assistance tool. The Services capture audio from your device in real time, transcribe it using third-party speech-to-text providers, and process the transcribed text through AI language models to generate suggested answers. You understand and agree that: (a) your audio is streamed to external service providers for transcription; (b) transcribed text is sent to AI language model providers for processing; (c) the AI-generated answers are suggestions only and should not be relied upon as professional advice; (d) you are solely responsible for how you use the Services and any answers provided.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for purposes that are permitted by these Terms and any applicable law, regulation, or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions. You shall not use the Services to misrepresent your qualifications, engage in fraud, or violate any third party's rights. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with any agreements you have with third parties, including employers or interviewers.

Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of LotsDots Lab. The AI-generated answers provided to you during sessions are licensed to you for personal use only and may not be redistributed commercially.

Subscriptions and Refund Policy

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. We offer a 3-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans: if you request a refund within 3 days of your initial purchase and your usage has not exceeded the free plan allowance (20 minutes), we will refund you in full. After the 3-day window, or if your usage exceeds the free plan allowance, all subscription fees are non-refundable. By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the User: You may cancel your subscription at any time by accessing your account settings on our website or by contacting our support team at support@interviewcopilot.io. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to the Services until the end of your subscription term.

Automatic Renewal: All subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of the subscription term unless canceled by the user. By agreeing to these Terms, you authorize Interview Copilot to charge the applicable subscription fees for the renewal period.

Cancellation by Interview Copilot: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your subscription at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or our policies, or for any other reason in our sole discretion.

Effect of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, your access to the Services will continue until the end of the current billing cycle, after which your access will be terminated.

Third-Party Services

The Services rely on third-party providers for core functionality, including but not limited to: Deepgram (speech-to-text transcription), OpenAI (AI language models and speech-to-text), Anthropic (AI language models), Google (AI language models), and Stripe (payment processing). Your use of our Services is subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party providers, and we encourage you to review their respective terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content. The Services are intended as a supplementary aid and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision. We make no representations that the Services will meet your specific requirements or that the AI-generated answers will be correct, appropriate, or suitable for any particular interview or purpose.

Privacy

Your use of our Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that you have read and understand our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LotsDots Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, employment opportunities, or job offers, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from: (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (b) any AI-generated content or suggestions provided through the Services; (c) any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data; (d) any third-party conduct on or related to the Services. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LotsDots Lab and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including any interview or employment-related agreements.

Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post the most current version of these Terms on our website with the updated date. By continuing to use our Services after the changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or through the Services.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to all or part of our Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Disclaimers) shall survive.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
